Boutique Design, an interior design studio based in Hong Kong introduced us their latest project: ‘The Canopy’ which is a residential tower that aims to take advantage of Hong Kong’s geographic specifications.
It offers an alternative idea of luxury housing, something different than what you can traditionally find in HK. Hong Kong is in a stunning scenery, yet the city and nature can be very far apart. This project blurs the boundaries between the inside and the outside and takes the best of both.
The tower is made of 54 duplex apartments surrounded by their own and individual gardens. The flats (1150sqf net plus a 525 square feet of garden/balcony) are like modern tree houses: immersed in nature, yet offering a full 21st century comfort and lifestyle. The duplex layouts offer high ceilings and big volumes for a reasonable size.
The tower has an optimized structure with standard units to minimize the construction cost and can be easily reproduced into multiple towers, its green envelope making each tower unique and integrated into its natural surrounding.

We also came up with numerous features such as the integrated AC compressors, space optimization, social life within the tower…We worked with our vision of interior designers and with our experience of renovating apartments in Hong Kong. Our aim is to offer a different vision for the future development of Hong Kong, more green and opened to the outside, respectful and aware of its environment.
